The natural environment provides us with so much to be grateful for. If we let it, it can enhance our whole existence by providing regular top-ups of calm, rest, pleasure (releasing all those happy hormones that improve our physical health), and repair.

The wind blows where it will and is the epitome of ‘freedom’ and the embodiment of an uncontrollable force; and when it roars in your ears and up your nose it provides a wonderful force to shout and scream against, the ideal punchbag!

Nature makes no distinction between individuals, places, boundaries or beliefs. The sea will crash against any surface and erode it to a sand that mixes and blends into earth – on which we all stand.

There’s always a way through
The beach today The beach is different every day as the tide rearranges the pebbles, creates new rock pools and streams. Today my way was blocked by a new rockpool. Above the rockpool a deep stream gurgled back across the beach to feed this pool. Below the pool, an overflow stream merrily chatted its way…
